I think the driver is called "nvidia" now (at least it is for the
4191 driver), not "NVdriver". Try changing that in XF86Config-4 , and I
think it will work.

description:
I have a Dell Inspiron 2650 and I installed Mandrake 9.1 RC 1 and the
installation was great. When I configured X and tested my settings the screen
went black and nothing happend. I rebooted and went to NVIDIA's website here
http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=linux_display_1.0-3123

Installed the kernel driver file and the glx driver file, I followed the
instructions and edited XF86CONFIG-4 file type startx and it almost works then
I get a failed to initialize NVdriver kernel module. My video card is a 16MB
DDR NVIDIA GeForce2.-thanks

Seth
