Eric: It actually has a mix on RC6 and RC7. The "RC6" you see on startup is taken from the version of the ALSA libs Mandrake has installed. The actual drivers are RC7. No-one's ever explained why the kernel drivers are always updated separately from the libs, though... -- adamw
