there is no gpilotd-applet..

You have to configure gnome-pilot to use /dev/usb/tts/0 for pilot port and it
should work when it see "Palm Handheld" in /proc/bus/usb/devices..

Could you also put here content of /proc/bus/usb/devices when after you have
pressed hotsync button on your palm ?

I use the Mandrake 9.1 RC 1 and my Palm Tungsten T communic with pilot-link,
with the command line "pilot-xfer -p /dev/usb/tts/0 -L", but when I use the
gpilotd-applet, nothing appends.
