Can you please check which xine packages you have installed?
rpm -qa|fgrep xine

The next thing you could try would be to remove your ~.xine directory (move it
somewhere else) and let xine recreate it.

description:
I have installed xine and xine-dvdnav.

Pressing on the DVD button in xine I see this message:

"- xine engine error -
There is no input plugin available to handle 'dvd:/'"

There is no NAV button inside xine like I am used to.
