           Product: galaxy-kde
         Component: libsasl2-plug-ntlm
           Summary: Galaxy-KDE Has Serious Issues
           Version: 0.2-7mdk
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: P1
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I've found the following bugs in Galaxy-KDE as compared to other KDE themes and
Galaxy-KDE:

1.) The Konqueror drop down box looks very bad. If you compare it to the one in
Galeon,
you'll see my point. Not only is the drop down button kind of "detached" looking, the
dark
outline around it only goes around 1/3 of the bottom of the text box. The rest doesn't
have an
outline at all.

2.) Most other drop down boxes have similar anomalies crop up throughout KDE with
drop
down boxes. All of them seem to have those issues, but some, for example KDict's, also
get
artifacts behind the text label for the drop down box.

3.) Color changes don't apply normally. For some reason, changing color schemes
takes
effect immediately for all of Galaxy-kde except for the buttons. Buttons remain the
previous
color until you restart the application(s).

4.) Rather than the highlighted menu item being in color like Keramik or Galaxy-GTK,
it
uses the older 3D indented look.

5.) And of course, as reported in bug #1813, buttons aren't displayed in Konqueror,
making it impossible (or at least an extreme pain) to use many web based forms, such
as
this one.

I don't mean any of this to say you guys aren't doing an AMAZING job, especially
considering how Galaxy only started to be available when the distribution was moving
into
the release candidate stage.

submit
this report)
