But if packages aren't autorised to modify user config file, which app put this
in my ~/.gnome2/session-manual ?
It isn't me, it can only be mandrake-galaxy.
It is quite incorrect to keep erronous config files after having removed a
package ...

Hi

After I uninstalled mandrake-galaxy rpm, there was still an entry of
mandrake-galaxy in my ~/.gnome2/session-manual .
Here is what this file looks :

$ cat ~/.gnome2/session-manual
 
[Default]
num_clients=1
0,RestartStyleHint=3
0,Priority=50
0,RestartCommand=/usr/bin/mandrakegalaxy
