------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-06 16:50 ------- I thought as much. As I reviewed my notes I noticed that changing the NEDDHOSTNAME to no didn't make a difference. Well then you have not solved the mystery of the bug itself, just created a workaround. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: When I configure my network during rc1 installation, no matter what hostname I enter when configuring dhcp, the computer uses dhcppc8, which I assume is being assigned by the dhcp server. The address being assigned by the server is 192.168.0.9. Why ask for a hostname if it will not be used in the configuration files permanently?
