It doesn't seem this is valid. If I install the usb-storage module for my device the
proper
/mnt/removablemedia folder is added. It just doesn't appear on the KDE desktop.

description:
While the Mount Points part of mcc has an icon for every other type of media
device on my system, it did not provide a way to access/setup mountpoints,
supermount, etc., for removable usb media. In my case, the device in question is
my Hewlett-Packard PSC 2210 multifuction device. As I reported in bug #2369, the
device should have not only the printer module loaded when it is connected, but
also the usb-storage module. Assuming bug #2369 is resolved, once it is, it
would be good to insure the device is not only properly detected, but also made
useful. One key point of that, is providing a device icon on the desktop (with
the cd device icons, etc.), insuring supermount is setup, etc.

This is kind of a general report, but I thought since it is related to the fact
that mcc does not add a config icon for new storage mediums that are added via
usb, I thought this might be the right place to report it.
