Hi,

I downloaded the source rpm, it is still disabled there. Please, put a new
.config in there as well.

Moreover, the menuconfig is broken too :

- -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Preparing scripts: functions,
parsing......................................................................scripts/Menuconfig:

./MCmenu71: line 54: syntax error near unexpected token `fi'
scripts/Menuconfig: ./MCmenu71: line 54: `fi'
..............................done.

Menuconfig has encountered a possible error in one of the kernel's
configuration files and is unable to continue. Here is the error
report:

 Q> scripts/Menuconfig: line 832: MCmenu71: command not found

Please report this to the maintainer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. You may also
send a problem report to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

Please indicate the kernel version you are trying to configure and
which menu you were trying to enter when this error occurred.

make: *** [menuconfig] Error 1
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have got this, when I entered the part related to ALSA (under Sound). It is
not possible to configure anything related to ALSA with menuconfig, but
xconfig seems to work fine :-(

I will enable SMP and highmem (the 4GB option) and test it.

Jan
