                         Malted Chocolate Cookies

     1/2           cup  butter -- softened
     1/2           cup  sugar
  1           teaspoon  vanilla extract
  2                     egg yolk
  1                cup  all-purpose flour
     1/3           cup  unsweetened cocoa powder
     1/4           cup  malted milk powder
     1/4      teaspoon  salt
  27                    chocolate kisses -- unwrapped
     1/3           cup  white chocolate morsels
  1         tablespoon  heavy whipping cream

Preheat oven to 350ºF.  Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper; set
aside.

In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar at medium speed with an electric
mixer until creamy.  Beat in vanilla.  Add egg yolks, beating until
combined.

In a medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa, malted, milk powder, and salt. 
Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture, beating until combined. 
Roll dough into 1-inch balls.  Place 2 inches apart on prepared baking
sheets.  Bake for 10 minutes.  Remove from oven and immediately press 1
chocolate kiss into center of each cookie.  Let cool on pan for 2 minutes.
 Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
