1/2 pounds (2 sticks butter softened) 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional) 3 cups Quaker oats (quick or old fashoned uncooked) 1 cup raisins Heat oven to 350 In large bowl ,beat butter, and sugers till creamy. Add eggs and vanilla ; beat well .Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. mix well .Add oates and raisins. mix well. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet. remove to wire rack. Cool completley. store tightly covered. Makes about 4 dozen. made thease yesterday morning and wish i made more. they are yummy enjoy guys. note you may also add 1 cup chopped walnuts in addition to the rasins. Yahoo!
