yes it is for the oven, I think when you are baking chicken or chops etc and half way through baking you are to turn them. I would like to get my hands on one to see exactly how this pan looks. I have had several pans for on top the stove for turning eggs or making omlets but they have never worked thus I make sunny side up eggs, scrambled eggs or frittatas... *smile* a girl has to do what a girl has to do ay?
