Oh sure you can. Just put it on a cookie sheet if using in the oven. I also use mine in the microwave.

It is round with high sides, and has the thing in the middle like a bunt pan. Except my bunt pan has those lines, like a design and my angel food pan is perfectly round on the outside edges. So when you invert it, the cake will come out with a hole in the middle of it.
