Usually it's canned pumpkin with light and brown sugars, the spices, such as cinnamon, allspice, cloves, nutmeg, maybe ginger that you'd want in a pumpkin pie. If so, you just put it into a pie shell and bake. If it isn't, you need to give in to your desire to be independent and ask someone to read the directions on the can.
