Subject: [CnD] Fruity the Snowman

Maybe this is something you can make with your kids.

Fruity the Snowman

By Bethany Booth

These fruity snowmen are a refreshing treat after the sugar loaded
holidays. They are simple for little hands to assemble and make
adorable snacks for any winter party.

Ingredients:

Bananas, thickly sliced
Grapes, cut in half
Shredded carrots, cut in half
Apples, sliced
Bamboo skewers
Mini chocolate chips
Pretzel sticks

For each snowman you will need three thick slices of banana, a ½ slice
(triangular shaped piece of apple, a ½ grape, and a sliver of carrot.
Poke a hole in the apple piece with a bamboo skewer first to make
assembly easier.

Allow the kids to slide the fruit onto the skewer, then use the carrot
slivers for noses, mini chocolate chips for eyes and buttons, and
pretzel sticks for arms. Serve with a smile.

Tip: toss cut fruit in lemon juice to prevent browning.
