depending on what you're eating. if it's onions and the top feels really 
krispy and the onion part is soft and flimsy, green onions and chives, they 
most likely are not good anymore. if it's letis the leaves should be nice 
and firm when on the head and when you take them off to cut them up or rip 
them up, depending on what you do with them. Green and red peppers should be 
firm along with carrots, cucumbers, and celery. If there is anything that 
I'm forgetting to mention pleae feel free to add here anyone.
