Sausage And Hot Mustard Sauce

1 (8 ounce) package Swift Premium Brown 'N Serve Sausage, any flavor

For Hot Mustard Sauce:

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

1 tablespoon flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup water

1 beef bouillon cube

1/3 cup Dijon style mustard

2 teaspoons horseradish

2 tablespoons sugar

Cut sausage links in halves. Brown according to package directions. Keep hot on hot tray or in chafing dish. Spear sausage pieces with smooth toothpicks. Serve with hot mustard sauce for dipping.

To prepare hot mustard sauce, melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour and salt. Gradually add water. Add bouillon cube, mustard, horseradish and sugar. Stir and cook until sauce thickens. Makes 1 1/2 cups sauce.

Makes 20 appetizers.
