I don't see why you couldn't use broccoli instead of the cauliflower.
Cauliflower And Cheese Soup crockpot
Makes 4 to 6 servings
1 medium head cauliflower, separated into florets
1 medium onion, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
4 cups chicken stock
2 cups light cream
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped chives for garnish
Put the cauliflower, onion, carrot, celery, and chicken stock in a CrockPot.
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Turn off the crockpot and allow the
soup to cool a little.
Transfer the soup, in batches if necessary, to a blender or food processor
and process until smooth. Return the soup to the crockpot and add the
cream, Worcestershire, and cheese and stir to combine. Add salt and pepper
to taste and stir to mix well. Turn the crockpot control to high and heat
through. Serve garnished with the chives.
Later.
