MICROWAVE MEATBALLS

 

1/4 cup butter

1 onion, chopped

 

Add

2 pounds ground beef

3 eggs

1 cup bread crumbs, seasoned

3/4 cup milk

1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

2 tablespoons parsley

 

Add

1/2 cup butter

 

Gravy Mixture:

3 tablespoons  flour

1 cup hot water

2 beef bouillon cubes

1 teaspoon kitchen bouquet

1/2 cup light cream or milk

 

Shape into 2 inch balls.  In 12 x 7 dish melt 1/2cup butter for 2 minutes.

Add meat balls. Cook uncovered 7-8 minutes.  Stir twice during cooking.

Place on serving dish.  Into meat juice stir in the gravy mixture.  Cook for

2 minutes.  Remove and add balls.  Baste, cook 2 to 3 minutes.
