Hi Mike,

A simple way to make Mashed Potatos is to wash about 2 or 3 potatos depending on how many you are making dinner for. Wash and if you wish peel your potatos and place them in a pan of water. Make sure your taters are covered well. Boil them for about 35 minutes. You will want to drain your potatos so I have a basket inside of my large pan and I pull the spuds out of the boiling water. In a large bowl mash your potatos with a potato masher until they are well mashed.

I usually put salt, pepper and either a clove of garlic or a teaspoon of minced garlic and about a quarter cup of butter for 4 potatos. I put about a quarter cup of milk with them and use a portable mixer to mash and blend the butter and milk. Hope this helps,
