If your apple is even the slightest bit soft it'll not peel right. The blade is supposed to rest against the apple so when you crank the apple through it will rub against the blade and you should get most of the time one long continuous peel til the apple is through.

How to get it to peel? I do not know how the peeling blade is supposed to
go, because it takes off way too much of the apple when it is peeling.

Does anyone have one of the apple peeler corer slicers from Pampered Chef?

I
figured out how to get it to core and slice, but I can't figure out the
peeling mechanism. If anyone has one, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
