If you go to BARD, Braille and Audio Reading Download,
https://nlsbard.loc.gov/cgi-bin/nlsbardprod/index.cgi
You can type in Trader Joe's in the search box and that is the only return
you'll get.

You do have to have a membership to BARD, but it is part of the NLS program.

I just finished this very entertaining and
quick-reading book. Like the author, I love my Trader Joe's!

Here are 2 chicken recipes I copied from the book
and intend to make soon (I bookmarked 35 and am
still sorting through my bookmarks to choose the
ones I actually do intend to try!:

lack Pepper Chicken with Winter Squash
From the "I Love Trader Joe's Cookbook"
1 TBSP. Olive oil
4 chicken thighs, bone in, skin on
1 red onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound butternut squash, cubed
1 cup white wine
1 tube savory chicken broth concentrate (or equivalent)
1/2 10-oz. Bottle TJ's black pepper simmer sauce

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Brown chicken in hot olive oil until golden
brown, about 7 minutes on first side and 3-4
minutes on second side. Remove to platter, and
pour off all but about a TBSP. Of fat from
pan. Sautee sliced onion and garlic. Add squash
cubes and sauté about 5 minutes.

Add wine and chicken broth concentrate and bring
to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add about a third of a cup of the black pepper sauce, and stir to combine.

Put chicken on top and brush it with the remaining sauce.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.

Hot Toddy Chicken!
2 pounds chicken thighs
2 tsp. Olive oil
1 tube chicken savory broth concentrate
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup orange marmalade
2 TBSP. Whiskey
1 TBSP. Honey
Red pepper flakes, salt and pepper

Season chicken thighs with salt and
pepper. Brown in oil over medium-high
heat. When all chicken is browned, pour in
concentrate and water, simmer over low heat, 10
minutes for boneless thighs, 25 minutes for bone-in thighs.

Combine marmalade, whiskey, honey and red pepper
flakes, and pour into pan, stirring to combine with pan liquid.

Simmer until sauce has thickened and thighs are glazed and cooked through.

Enjoy!
Penny
