I think the method would work if I used less butter  and if it didn't
get thick nook it longer.    Next time I'll be sure and do the test with
cold water t o see if its at softball stage or not before I mix in the
flavor and vanila.  But yeah, cook those mallows with the rest of the
stuff that has to heat up.  Works much easier.  Smiles.

Thanks for mentioning that you use marshmallows instead of the
marshmallow 
cream.  I am in a rural town in Mexico and cannot get the cream version 
here.  Fortunately, giant size marshmallows are popular here.  The
problem 
with microwaves is that they do not all put out the same power.
