Subject: [CnD] shepherd's pie

hi list.
Here in NZ, shepherd's pie always used to be made with lamb. A similar dish made
with beef mince
was known as cottage pie. however, the name cottage pie seems to have disappeared,
and it tends to
be shepherd's pie even if made with beef these days. another version of shepherd's
pie is to use
leftover cold roast meat minced instead of using raw meat.
cheers
andrew
