Here is a variation of the previous Great Grandma Bohanan's Apple Crisp recipe.
It is just as easy and just as good!!
5 or 6 Jonathan or Granny Smith apples peeled, cored and sliced
1 box Blueberry muffin mix with real blueberries
1 stick butter, soften

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Drain berries and save  the juice.
Combine the berries with the sliced apples  and spread evenly in a baking pan.
In a medium bowl, cut together butter and the dry mix for the muffins until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Sprinkle on top of apples.
Add the saved juice by pouring over the top of the crumb mixture, as evenly as you can...
Bake for 40 minutes or until topping turns golden brown.
