Thanks Nancy, I've never tried decorating a cake with cookie cutters before.
But it seemslike it would be a little easier to do it that way.
I've tried using the decorating bags and the decorating tips and sometimes
it can be frustrating.
One of my kids has a birthday in December and the other one has a birthday
in January. I'm looking forward to baking a cake for them and hopefully the
decorations will turn out fine.

I like baking cakes but have a hard time decorating them. I read in a
magazine that you could use cookie cutters to make designs on cakes. Has
anyone ever tried anything like that before? I wrote braille on a cake once
with m&m's. Anyway cake decorating ideas would be great.
