BOURBON BALLS ROLLED IN PECANS
Try these as they are heavenly.
Buy bakery Angel Food Cake
1 pound powder sugar
1 Stick Butter (real butter)
Bourbon - brand of your choice.
1 lb. chopped pecans but you will need to place between wax
paper and crush with rolling pin or use food processor to grind.
Pinch off golf ball or a little smaller pieces of Angel Food Cake. Try to
mold, just by pressing with fingers, into balls or round shape Melt butter
and
cool.
Mix butter and 1 lb. powdered sugar together. Thin with Bourbon by 1/2
jigger full. If it gets too thin, just add a little more sugar. Roll angel
food balls
in mixture and then roll in pecans. Place in tin and cover tightly. Keep in
refrigerator. Delicious.
"And the angel said unto them, "Fear not! For, behold, I bring you tidings
of great joy, Which shall be to all people. "For unto you is born this day
in
the city of David A Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a
sign unto you: Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, Lying in
a manger.

Subject: [CnD] My Rum Balls
I'm looking for a recipe for burbon...My mother used to make them
durring the hollidays, but everyone needed some kind of candy chaser
for hers, and I'd kind of like to see what they are supposed to taste
like...I haven't tried candy yet...BTW, is there really a difference
between the meat thermometer and the candy thermometer...Well, except
for the fact that they are FOR tow different things...
