This is my favorite oatmeal cookie recipe. The coconut makes them chewy and 
soft and the Rice Krispies add a little crunch. I usually use Becel margarine 
and shredded coconut.

Cracker Jack Cookies

1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoon soda
2 cups flour
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup coconut 
2 cups rice krispies

mix, drop by spoon, bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes depending on how large 
cookies are.
