I heard of it from my husband's family. George's father was from England and George's grandparents came to visit in 1983 and I am glad I got to meet them. They made Yorkshire pudding and when they put a hot dog in the pan and the yorkshire pudding came up around the hot dogs they called it toad in the hole. Sometimes they put the Yorkshire puddings with or without the hot dogs in a muffin tin rather than just a rectangle pan. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom Dickhoner" <tdickho...@fuse.net>

I've never heard of Toad in the Hole. That's a new one on me. Pigs In A Blanket were always done with hot dogs. Chips of any kind go nicely with these
