Old-Fashioned Lemonade Makes one half gallon 1 cup water mixed with 1 cup sugar and boiled to a syrup Juice of four lemons, yielding 1 cup Enough water to fill a one half gallon pitcher. Put syrup and lemon juice into the pitcher, fill the rest of the way with cold water; mix well; enjoy. I have made this for years; so much better than the powdered kind in a can or the frozen concentrate stuff!
