Raisin Nut Pie

 

"mamma peach"

3 eggs

3/4 cup Karo Dark Corn Syrup

1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar

1/4 cup Mazola Margarine, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup raisins

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

1 unbaked (9 inch) pastry shell

In bowl, beat eggs slightly. Stir in corn syrup, brown sugar, margarine, 
vanilla and salt. Stir in raisins and nuts. Turn into pastry shell. Bake in 350 
degree oven 40 to 50 minutes, or until knife inserted half way between center 
and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. If desired, serve with unsweetened 
whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Makes 8 servings.
