Macaroni Salad Meal Recipe

 

Ingredients

 

list of 16 items

. 1/2 lb. bacon slices fried crisp, chopped

. 4 C. macaroni boiled tender (not overdone), drained

. 1 tsp. salt into macaroni before done

. 4 C. grated crisp cabbage

. 1 C. grated mellow Cheddar cheese

. 1 C. finely chopped bell peppers

. 1 C. chopped firm ripe 

tomatoes

 cut into wedges to remove seeds and juice

. 4 oz. chopped pimientos

. 1/2 C. mayonnaise

. 1/2 C. sour cream

. 1 1/2 tsp. salt

. 1 tsp. black pepper

. 2 tsp. dill seed

. 1/2 tsp. oregano

. 1/2 tsp. cumin

. 2 tsp. chives flaked

Directions

 

Mix into gallon size bowl as instructed, and refrigerate at least 1 hour before 
serving. A nutritious, tasty, colorful, and easy to make. You may use 

low calorie

 or low fat items to make the salad even more healthful.  Enjoy.
