What I do is put a foil pie plate into the sink. Pour the grease into the pie plate; let cool for a few minutes.

Then squeeze a side of the plate between your thumb and index finger to make a spout from which to pour the cooled grease.

Store in a tight lidded container or jar in the refrigerator.
