Dessert PUMPKIN PIE SQUARES

 

Crust:

1 cup flour                       ½ cup quick oats

½ cup brown sugar            ½ cup butter

Mix until crumbly.  Bake in 13"X 9" pan for 15 minutes at  350 degrees.

 

Filling:

1 lb. can pumpkin              13 oz. can evaporated milk, 

2 eggs                    ¾ cup sugar

½ tsp. salt                        1 tsp. cinnamon

½ tsp. ginger                    ¼ tsp. ground cloves

Combine and pour into crust.  Bake 20 minutes at 350.

 

Topping:

Combine ½ cup pecans, ½ cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp. butter

Sprinkle over pumpkin filling.  Bake for 15-20 minutes more or until filling is 
set.  Cool. Cut into squares.  Serve with whipped cream.
