Pound Cake
3 cups cake flour, sifted 2 cups sugar ½ teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1, ½ cup butter 1/3 cup butter milk 6 eggs 2 teaspoons lemon extract 1 tablespoon lemon zest Combine flour sugar salt and baking powder Add butter, milk and 3 eggs, beat 2 minutes at high speed. Add lemon extract and zest and blend Add remaining eggs and beat.
