Okay, Thanks, I should be able to figure this out. I really like this idea!

Yes, I have a larger cupcake pan, so I guess you will have to figure the
measurements of yours. If I remember my old cupcake pan you could divide
about 1/2 cup of batter or just fill the cups 2/3 full and then put a few
tablespoons of batter over the top of the caramel.

Are you saying you used 2/3 cup for each cupcake? Did you use larger baking
cups?

Exactly, I used a 1/3 measuring cup and put 1 scoop of batter in and
pressed the caramel in then put another 1/3 scoop of batter on top. I have
also sprinkeled a few chocolate chips or walnuts on top at times before
baking as well.

I'm just curious, how did you get them into the middle? Did you divide the
batter?

Hi Alex
I have put a whole caramel piece in the middle of a chocolate cupcake. Once
it has been baked, the caramel has melted and if you eat them soon after
they are out of the oven or warm them up in the microwave, the caramel is
warm and melts in your mouth.

Becky

Hi all,
A friend recently told me of the existence of caramel pieces, similar in
size and function to chocolate chips. After this glorious revelation was
imparted to me, I just had to give them a try, and my first thought was to
replace half the chocolate chips in chocolate chip cookies with these
caramel pieces. Does anyone have suggestions for what else I could do with
these pieces, preferably still using chocolate in some way? Thanks.

Have a great day,
Alex (msg sent from Mac Mini)
