That is what I did.  I sometimes don't think the cooking most common frozen
foods is accurate on there web site.  I burnt my first pie because they say
if the cooking temperature is over 350 degrees you cook according to the
directions on the pie.  I did that and I had a rather black apple pie.  When
I got another pie I sent a message to [email protected] and that is what
they recommended so I thought I would pass it on.

It came out great!  The foil strips protected the crust, and to stack the
deck I removed the racks from the nuwave and had the pie sitting inside the
metal pan so it would be farthest away from the heating elements during the
baking process.  I just had a couple slices then covered the pie with foil
and put it in the refrigerator for later consumption.  Thanks much!
