You can put the potato in some wet paper towel and cook it less time. The paper towel will be hot so take it out with something like pot holder. It makes the potato very moist. Cook a little less time. I do this with mmy potatoes. Lenore

Try cooking for less time and letting the potato stand for three minutes or so before serving. A small to medium potato will take four to five minutes with a resting time of about two minutes.
