I can get pre-cooked bacon at Aldi for about $2.79 a package, which has 15 strips of bacon, what you'd normally get in a pound. It's shelf stable until you open the package and if you want it nice and crispy it takes about 30-45 seconds in the microwave. (A minute is too long) That's cheaper than any uncooked bacon I can find at any of the local stores, in most cases by about half.
