Doug, I, about 12 years ago, I bought an Elite model range with no buttons or
switches. To solve the access problem, I made a template with holes in it. The
touch spots were so sensitive that I couldn't put my hand close to the back
piece with one of them being activating and I wouldn't know which spot was
activated.

I will be glad to describe my solution which has made my ability to use all
functions. This procedure could be used on most appliances sold today whether
ranges, warshers, etc. Write me if you want to know the solutions. If others on
this list want to know the ultra good solution to this accessability problem.
By the way, the range has a smooth top with several options for the location
and size of the "burners". If you answer this message let me know that you want
to know.

Will we ever be able to buy an accessible appliance anymore? I don't often go
through a burn out phase, but I feel like I am going through one this evening.
What are people buying for new accessible stoves these days? Do they exist
anymore? If I purchased a new home tomorrow could I find an accessible stove to
put into it?

Doug
