The other thing I like to do with this wonderful casserole is break up the bread and put everything in the same bowl, mixing it all together like one would a meat loaf. I have also left everything in its original mixing bowl, covered and let stand overnight, then placing in the 13x9 baking pan. Of course, if you have more ingredients, the cooking time will be longer, but it is worth the wait.

Serve hot. cook's notes you can add a teaspoon of your favorite dried herbs or seasonings to the egg mixture if you wish. We like Italian seasoning. You can also add some cooked and crumbled bacon. You can also substitute 2 cups of plain or seasoned croutons for the cubed bread. _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list Cookinginthedark@acbradio.org http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list Cookinginthedark@acbradio.org http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list Cookinginthedark@acbradio.org http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark
