I jus made this this morning. Poured over toast, biscuits or even as a french toast topper
Also great over bananas or ice cream. Sugar's Leche Kemada 1 can)24 ounce) Eagle Brand Condensed Milk Deep sauce pan Water 1. Leave can close. 2. Remove paper around the can 3. Fill a sauce pan half way of water & place the closed can in the center 4. Turn the heat up till you reach a hard boil. 5. After the first hard boil, lower the heat to medium heat. (very important that you never allow the water level to go lower than the half way point as the can will explode and make a terrible mess(trust me I know) 6. After about 2 hours, very carefully turn the can over 7. Keep checking the water level. 8. After another 2 hours your caramel should be ready- (This recipe will take about 4 hours to complete approx... depending on your stove top) Once your milk is done, carefully empty the water out in to your sink and careful remove the can out of the sauce pan and place on a cool surface or plate (I use my cutting board that I use for baking) Once warm enough to touch you may open it with a can opener. Now your caramel (leche Kemada is ready to go! Here is a few different ways we like to use this creamy dessert: As a spread on toast, French toast or on pancakes As a dip for fresh fruits and cookies such as gram crackers A topping for baked goods like pound cakes. Enjoy I hope you find fun ways to experiment with this easy and creamy dessert Sugar "A day without a friend is like a pot without a drop of honey." -Winnie the Pooh -Please support me in my journey to another opportunity of life at: https://www.gofundme.com/sugars-transplant-journey Bless you, Sugar Lopez _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list Cookinginthedark@acbradio.org http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark
