I just make enough to store in the fridge. It is just my husband and I and at times my God kids are over But for the most part I just make enough for the bot of us.

I put the evaporated milk and the sugar in a large pot and turn the fire on very low and then stir constantly, especially after the mixture comes to a boil. I use a long wooden spoon and time my boil. I've never had a problem, except during tornado weather in Memphis when my fudge didn't set.
