I would suggest maybe, that you like my blog entry, which is a kind of
historical snipet of the cooperative movement in Ireland, on the main
cooperation commons website some time.

Maybe someone here can find a decent document about the German
movement, which did work by all accounts, and link to my own little
blog entry in passing.

I don't know, maybe some economist type might stumble across it
sometime and do the research.

Computer-isation and the cooperative movement amongst farmers in
Ireland seem to have been interwoven, because so much of the Irish
economy in the old days, was based on the farming activity.

We never had an industrial revolution in Ireland, like they did in
Britain.
