Hey guys I'm trying to install and run Coot on my 64-bit RHEL6 system. I've tried several binaries, RHEL5 32-bit and both binary-Linux-x86_64-rhel-4-python-gtk2 and binary-Linux-x86_64-centos-5-python-gtk2. All end up having errors during startup, i get the following:
COOT_PREFIX is /sbinlab2/rod/software/coot-Linux-x86_64-rhel-4-gtk2-python ./coot-real ./coot-real: error while loading shared libraries: libldap-2.2.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory coot-exe: "./coot-real" coot-version: /sbinlab2/rod/software/coot-Linux-x86_64-rhel-4-gtk2-python/bin/coot-real ./coot-real: error while loading shared libraries: libldap-2.2.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory platform: /bin/uname core: #f No core file found. No debugging This is not helpful. Please turn on core dumps before sending a crash report I guess I have to make some system link, which I've tried between the libldap in my /usr/lib and coot. This did not help. Do I need to install some packages,or is the trouble somewhere else? Kind regards Robert
