Dear coot community,

Slightly off-topic.

We are trying to set up SGI dial boxes on a 64-bit Centos 6.4 system. The driver available from https://sourceforge.net/projects/dialbox/ is not accepted by the Xorg server:

[ 870.216] (II) LoadModule: "dialbox"
[ 870.216] (II) Loading /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/input/dialbox_drv.so
[ 870.216] (EE) Failed to load /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/input/dialbox_drv.so: /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/input/dialbox_drv.so: undefined symbol: xf86GetMotionEvents
[ 870.216] (II) UnloadModule: "dialbox"
[ 870.216] (II) Unloading dialbox
[ 870.216] (EE) Failed to load module "dialbox" (loader failed, 7)

and the compilation fails (see attached output). Obviously, the driver still needs Xfree86, which in modern linuxes has been completely replaced by the Xorg server.

We'd be grateful, if somebody could help out with a working driver or with some directions to solve the issue.

Another question aside: Is it possible to switch left/right sides in hardware stereo mode by system wide configuration?

Best regards
