Hi, I just recently downloaded the stand-alone coot 10.8 from Scott Lab Pages. When I try to open my mtz files it doesn't load with the following warnings in my terminal:
sys:1: GtkWarning: Unable to find default local directory monitor type sys:1: GtkWarning: Could not find the icon 'application-x-aportisdoc'. The 'hicolor' theme was not found either, perhaps you need to install it. You can get a copy from: http://icon-theme.freedesktop.org/releases Fontconfig warning: ignoring UTF-8: not a valid region tag There's also a separate pop-up from coot that says: Fail to find any suitable F/phi columns in the mtz file. ( I know my mtz has all the required info for map) I tried downloading hicolour icon theme from the website suggested. Did not change anything. Please advice. Thanks in advance! Sincerely, Sze Yi
