Finally I could solve my issue and wanted to update the thread in case 
that somebody else could help the information as well.

I had to adjust a setting in the "Monitor Setup" or "On screen display" 
of the monitor, respectively. In the menu there is an entry for 3D. 
There I had to change the left and right representation (L/R). Now there 
is just a slight shade left that's below the molecular model, but that's 
exactly the same with a Zalman screen.

I'm really happy now with this setup ;)
