Hello, I was wondering if there is an easier way to add single atoms to structures without going through textedit. I have a unique peptide that I need to add four carbons to. I can't use add terminal residue" because all I want is a single carbon, not a whole residue. Moreover, coot doesn't recognize my ligand as a peptide due to the output from eLBOW so I can't add the terminal residue and then delete atoms down to one carbon.
Alternatively, is there a way to do this in pymol or another software? Thanks, Madison Arza Kennedy NSF Graduate Research Fellow University of Washington | PhD Student B.S.
