Hi Bill and Paul Thanks for the messages. However, I tried removing the reducent libpng files in the coot bin lib folder, and also tried several other different Scientific Linux versions of coot. However, it is still not working. I'm wondering if it's more of a cenos8 issue in general or some other local set-up.
